A Poem I Wrote About Space - Io

Io
My name
Untouched by earth
Not suited for their needs

With mountains taller than any other
Volcanoes erupting with Sulfur
That floats in the atmos
And frosts the ground

Awakening to see
Mother Jupiter
Every time I turn
Her final child
Closest to her heart

I wish to be further
But cannot leave
My mother needs me
So I stay

For as long as a have to
